Hysterical, Historical Tea Party - May 8, 2010
Above are photos taken at the first Hysterical, Historical Tea Party; which was held for the Ladies (and their friends) of First United Methodist Church of Pottstown (FUMCoP).
Fun was definitely had by all who came out to enjoy the afternoon. There were scones, potato soup, an assortment of tea sandwiches, and an assortment of desserts. And, of course, what would a Tea Party be without the tea. There was an assortment of those as well.
Each person who attended went home with a homemade bookmark (made by the Ladies Wednesday Morning Bible Study Group), and a small satchel of tea bags.
We were also treated to a historical trip down memory lane; where ladies hats are concerned. Four ladies were there to model the different eras of hats going back to the time before World War I.
