2009 Crop Walk
For this years’ Crop Walk we had a head count of 76 people; which is 27 less than we had in 2008. In 2008, we had a head count of 103 people. And, that was 11 less than we had in 2007. In 2007, we had a head count of 114 people. So, the numbers of participators is dwindling each year.
Could today’s weather (cold and windy) have anything to do with it? Maybe/Maybe not. We will never...

Church Picnic - September 20th
The Annual Church picnic will be held tomorrow beginning at 3 pm in the church parking lot. (Inside if it rains!) Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided- but a donation would be greatly appreciated! Any questions, see Lisa Harner

The Labyrinth
Please come and visit us Fridays from 12:00-4:00pm and Saturdays from 9:30am-3:30pm. We would be glad to you have stop in. Our books run from $.25 to $3.18. Our gifts are also priced low.
As part of the renewing/updating of the bookstore; I have moved a great deal of books around to accommodate better exposure for our gift items.

Halloween Parade
This year’s Halloween Parade will be on October 22nd at 7pm. As in previous years, First Church will be selling refreshments. If you would like to make a donation to this cause, please contact Lisa Harner.
Members and friends can sit in the “Reserved” seats in front of the church! Come out and visit with your church friends, eat a hot dog and have a beverage.

In an effort to keep as many people as possible notified of church wide events, we would like to collect your most current email addresses. For the next several weeks there will be a sheet to write your current email address. The sheets will be located on the information table in the Community Room and at the Visitor’s Desk in the entrance of the Sanctuary. Thank you.

In case anybody was curious; this year we had a total of 103 people stop by the the water table located in front of First Church this year.
Last year; we had a total of 114 people stop by the the water table located in front of First Church.
Maybe next year we can get more than 114 people, and beat the total for 2007. We can only try.
